Burlington Railroad Yard
Oil on Canvas, 28" x 18"

Vermont is full of rail yards and defunct infrastructure left over from the golden age of the New England railroads. This particular yard is quite close to downtown Burlington and is still in active use, visited by freight trains on the line north to Quebec.
On the left is a hemispherical set of locomotive garages and a spinning black platform used to point locomotives at the appropriate doorway. On the right is a track full of spare metal wheels.
